After dropping their latest game against the Buffalo Bills, the England Patriots have slipped to a 6-6 tally after managing just 242 yards, punting 6 times and going for 3-for-12 on third down in probably a crucial encounter for them.

With such a failed offensive unit who only managed to register 10 points most recently, it is safe to blame the flawed blueprint. Moreover, the decision to replace OC Josh McDaniel was never going to be beneficial. But even with such strong offensive struggles on display, Dan Orlovsky claims that he had already predicted such a downfall for Bill Belichick’s side.

The former NFL star said on the latest episode of Get Up, “Two months ago, I said it, I said this was the most concerning thing to me in the NFL and it still is… I have no clue what their offense is going to be. Look at their schedule, look at the team they are scheduled to play and find one where you can be honest about and say the Patriots have an advantage when it comes to offensive system and their offensive play calling.

Being tied at the 18th spot in the league in scoring, New England Patriots are also tied as the 7th-fewest offensive TouchDowns (23) in this season.

Orlovsky concluded, “I have no clue what the New England Patriots are going to do in their offense (in the forthcoming games).”

Furthermore, one of the biggest reasons for a lack of scoring is the New England Patriots’ inability to cap drives in the red zone. Scoring TouchDowns during just 38.7% of their red-zone trips, Bill Belichick entered Thursday second-worst in the NFL. With lackluster plans being implemented game-after-game, even QB Mac Jones was frustrated with the strategies against the Bills on Thursday.
