“I would take CeeDee over Amari”- Skip Bayless isn’t concerned about the loss of Amari Cooper for the Cowboys

With the NFL trade deadline upon us, fans were certain to see some unexpected moves. One of which was Amari Cooper being traded away (with a sixth-round pick) to the Cleveland Brown for a fifth and sixth rounder.

On the same note, veteran sports media personality – Skip Bayless feels that Jerry Jones’ Dallas Cowboys are better off Amari Cooper as they have the likes of CeeDee Lamb in their roster, as he is the leading receiver for the team in the 2022-23 season with 42 receptions, more than 555 receiving yards and 3 receiving TouchDowns as well.

Skip Bayless stated on the latest episode of Undisputed, “Remember the Week 1 game when the Browns stole that game from Baker Mayfield and Carolina (Pathers)? Amari, he took that game over. He caught three balls for 17 yards. And then their big game at Atlanta, he caught one ball for nine yards. That’s Amari. That’s who I know. Then against New England Patriots he caught four balls for 44 [yards]. And at Baltimore, Amari Cooper caught three balls for 24 yards. And his catch rate is only 59%.”

Will Amari Cooper be a huge loss for Dallas Cowboys?

Amari Cooper was sensational for his new team against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night. Although many scratched their heads on a specific play, yet he finished the spoken off encounter with five receptions, more than 130 receiving yards and a TouchDown as well.

That being said, Cooper’s trade was shock to many, realizing that he has now totaled 39 receptions, 553 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns this season. Perhaps something, every team could have made a difference upon.
