“I’m down to pay for a stake in the team”: Former Washington Commanders quarterback Robert Griffin III joins in on the sale of the franchise

Robert Griffin III’s love for his former team – Washington Commanders is out in the open and he surely wants to make it evident. As Dan Snyder’s tenure with his team might be coming to an end as an owner, it seems like the potential list of suitors might have a familiar name.

Former Quarterback Robert Griffin III is keen on joining forces with a handful of fans to but the team right out from under Dan Snyder’s sight. As soon as the news of Washington Commanders’ being sold off went viral, RGIII revealed his true interest in becoming a minority owner of the team.

Immediately after which, the former Quarterback turned analyst – Robert Griffin III clarified that the fans wouldn’t have to pay anything for their part in the share.

While this seems to a case made in heaven for any professional player – to be able to own a team which they have played for. Robert Griffin III seems to follow it up with a substantial video as well.

“I’ve had a lot of conversations and have taken a lot of phone calls from people who were interested in being a part of this minority ownership group, and I had to say that we just got our first $100 million offer to be a part of the group,” former NFL Quarterback said with excitement. “This team deserves an ownership group that is diverse as the city it represents.
