Dak Prescott finally returned in action for the Dallas Cowboys as their starting Quarterback after missing 5 consecutive weeks of game action. Although Cooper Rush did a commendable job in registering four consecutive wins for the team in Prescott’s absence, but the former was all set to take center stage in Week 7.
As the Dallas Cowboys locked horns against the Detroit Lions, Dak Prescott’s team cruised to a 24-6 victory against a deleted side which lacked confidence to make any moves throughout the course of four quarters. Although the team improved their record to 5-2, Prescott wasn’t at his best. Which gave sports media veteran – Skip Bayles a valid chance to prove his point against Cowboys; marquee Quarterback.

To those who missed the action between Cowboys and Lions in Week 7, let me bring everyone on the same page by discussing Dak Prescott’s individual performance. In the first half, Dak Prescott and his Dallas Cowboys had to punt the ball back to the Detroit Lions in their first two drives before leading the team to a 12-play drive that ended with a 22-yard field goal by Brett Maher.
That being said, Dak Prescott accounted for just one touchdown on the game, and it happened with under two minutes remaining in regulation, as he connected with tight end Peyton Hendershot, extending his team’s final lead to 24-6. Although there were hardly any doubts on the which team would likely come out on top, Prescott’s slow-rise to 100% form could lead the Cowboys in trouble in the coming weeks.
