NFL’s decision to move Buffalo Bills vs Cleveland Browns showdown to Detroit due to adverse weather conditions in Western New York, has raised a lot of speculation. Upon the same, Browns star Myles Garrett decided to voice his true opinion.
Fans would be aware that have been only a handful of games played in snow, but the magnitude of the current snowstorm has ensured the league to change its venue for Week 11 matchups. The All-Pro defensive end remained adamant that the change in game venue will give o team an added advantage. Moreover, it’s a fair square for both teams heading to Detroit.
Myles Garrett evidently revealed his happiness in not playing in the snow as well, as there would be plenty of chances of players getting seriously hurt, in probably the worst time possible.
Myles Garrett finally breaks silence
“It benefits everybody that we’re not playing in the snow,” Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett said, via Scott Petrak of Browns Zone. “As much fun as it is as a kid, we get paid too much to be slipping and sliding around trying to make plays and trying to do what we do on a regular basis when we’re in 3 feet of snow.
“This turf is pretty bad itself in terms of its track record with injuries and so making sure the guys are hydrated and properly warmed up and stretched so nobody is putting themselves in danger of getting hurt. I’ll take the turf over the snow just about every day.”
Given that the Browns are well aware where they are in the AFC North division, they need to win every single game from here on to stand any chance of qualifying? What drama awaits in this game? Remains to be seen.
