Aaron Rodgers could’ve ended his career on the highest possible road when he won his MVP accolade last season. However, the veteran Quarterback decided to return with the Green Bay Packers with the hopes of making a deep playoff run. After which things haven’t gone in the way Rodgers probably wanted them to go.

In the latest game for the Packers against the Philadelphia Eagles, Rodgers left in the third quarter due to an injury. This resulted in Jordan Love making his way into meaningful action for the first time in this season.

In a short time, Love made use of whatever opportunities were thrown his way. Even when the Packers lost, ending their hopes of making it into the playoffs, Love finished the game with 113 passing yards on 6-of-9 completions. Moreover, he even managed to find one for a TouchDown in limited snaps.

Skip Bayless on Aaron Rodgers passing the baton to Jordan Love

This is probably not the only game where we’ll see more of Michael Jordan Love, as per Skip Bayless, but he could be back under center in Week 13 against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field, with Aaron Rodgers’ status currently up in the air.

Skip Bayless stated on the latest episode of Undisputed, “It felt to me last night like Aaron Rodgers passed more than a football. It felt like he was passing the torch to Jordan Love, who at moments, looked like Michael Jordan Love.”

That being said, with Aaron Rodgers probably sitting out of the next game, will we witness his team register an uncanny win? Or is their misery only going to extend?
