Jarvis Landry who is the wide receiver of the Cleveland Browns had a season full of injuries which decreases his impact on the team
Jarvis Landry’s lack of availability along with the shoulder injury to their quarterback Baker Mayfield which affected his performance really derailed the Cleveland Browns’ season.
Jarvis Landry had one of the worst seasons in his career due to injuries affecting his performances as he had only 52 receptions, 520 receiving yards 2, and touchdowns in the 12 games he played last season.
The departure of Odell Beckham Jr. from the Cleveland Browns has opened the gates for Jarvis Landry to be the primary target for Baker Mayfield next season.
However, his future at the franchise is not certain as anything can happen in the off-season.
In his recent statements, he revealed his condition in the recently concluded season and said, “The reality behind all this is I came back to play in the best shape of my life, I got hurt Week 2 with a high-grade MCL sprain, partial quad tear, and bone bruise,”
He added, “I then came back way too early and ended up staying hurt the entire season. You never heard me mention anything about it.”
Jarvis Landry spoke up about the upcoming off-season regarding his future with the Cleveland Browns and said, “I have put the ball in Cleveland’s court by telling them I would like to stay but if not then I’m confident enough in myself to be a better healthy me this year and moving forward to helping do my part in winning a championship elsewhere.”
It is still uncertain about what will the Cleveland Browns do in the off-season as a rumored quarterback change might be possible which could result in multiple departures from the team.
