Justin Fields was in doubt to start for the Chicago Bears, but now, it looks like he might start after all
The Chicago Bears will be taking on the Detroit Lions in Gameweek 4 of the 2021 NFL Season.
After having found following their win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Gameweek 2, the Bears were hammered by the Cleveland Browns, 26-6.
With just 1 one win, and 2 losses already they will be itching to hit the block. They are currently 2nd in NFC North.
In their path stand the Detroit Lions who are yet to register even a single win this season. They are coming off a 17-19 loss against the Baltimore Ravens.
The Bears vs the Lions is set to take place in the coming hours at Soldier Field. With the game inching closer, coach Matt Nagy shed light on the players expected to start.
Justin Fields set to be Quarter Back 1
Rookie Justin Fields will be starting the came after Nagy initially stated that he would be placed in the list of game-time decisions.
Andy Dalton would have been the first choice; but a knee injury he suffered he is doubtful for the game against the Lions.
It is worth noting that, Fields had suffered an injury last week too. Since, it was only a right thumb injury, he has recovered pretty quickly and is good to go.
Nick Foles is said to be Fields’ backup.
