The Pittsburgh Steelers are in search of a new quarterback for the next season
As Big Ben departs from the game after serving the franchise for so long, a replacement is imminent.
Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert has already said that the team plans to bring in quarterbacks this offseason.
It is still uncertain whether they will bring in new talent through the draft or will look into a proven player via free agency and trades.

Kevin Colbert said, “We have confidence that if the season started today, Mason would be our starter, and we’re excited to see where that can go. He’s 5-4-1 as a starter. We’re excited to see what is next for Mason,” according to Trib Live’s Joe Rutter.
While Mason will be there with the franchise next season, it doesn’t mean that the Steelers won’t look at the other available options.
Kevin Colbert said, “We know we’re going to add to the position,” according to ESPN’s Brooke Pryor.
He added, “I can’t tell you how at this point. We will go to training camp with four quarterbacks.”
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin had already said in January that all options are still open in their search for a replacement for their legendary quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Ben Roethlisberger retired following an 18-year career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and it will be tough for the franchise to find a new quarterback like him who can look out for their future just like Ben did.
Kevin Colbert is set to step away from the team following the 2022 NFL Draft and in his last act as the GM of the Steelers, he will look to get a solid quarterback in for the new era of the franchise.
