The future of Lamar Jackson with the Baltimore Ravens has been uncertain for a long time now. Both parties haven’t been able to strike a deal yet, and that raised multiple questions regarding the QB’s future.

He recently gave an update regarding his contract negotiations with the Ravens. Lamar was also asked about did he miss the OTAs due to contract issues, to which he answered, No, no, not contract-related,” as he claimed that he wanted to stay away for some time to get healthier.

Lamar was also asked if he has had a conversation with the GM of the Ravens. He answered, “We actually did. We did. It’s a conversation, That’s all. Just keeping it private.”

Jackson was also asked if he wants to be in Baltimore for the rest of his career. He responded, “I expect so. Yes, I do.” Lamar also believes that he deserves a new contract. He said, “Yeah, I think so. I still want my Super Bowl, though, but I think I’m worthy for it, Yes sir, I do.”

Lamar Jackson gets ready for a tough season ahead

Lamar Jackson will be once again healthy and ready to take the Ravens ahead. However, the journey ahead doesn’t look easy. His division has got a lot tougher.

The Bengals made the Super Bowl last year. The Browns have got Deshaun Watson who can take them to the promised land, while the Steelers will have new faces who can bring a breath of fresh air to the team. As a result, Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens have their work cut out for the next season.
