Shannon Sharpe isn’t convinced yet with Dak Prescott and doesn’t think that the Dallas Cowboys quarterback isn’t a top 10 QB in the league.
Dak Prescott had a good season for the Dallas Cowboys last season. He came back from a serious injury and played well. Dak took the Cowboys to the playoffs but wasn’t able to get the job done there.
Prescott recently stated that he is in the best shape of his life during the offseason. Dak is very confident about the next season, and the Cowboys fans are also excited about it.
Dak Prescott said, “A couple of weeks out and I’m in the best shape that I’ve ever been in. So, it’s time to ramp it up and get going. I got a PT in the offseason – someone I’ve worked with throughout the last year…We work on these movements and stretches. I feel like, since the injury, I’ve trained more functional than I ever have…”
However, NFL legend Shannon Sharpe wasn’t impressed with Dak’s statements. The former Broncos TE doesn’t believe that the Dallas Cowboys quarterback is a top 10 quarterback in the league.

Shannon Sharpe was very vocal about what he thought after hearing what Dak Prescott said about his health heading into the next season.
Shannon said, “Well, I’m glad that I got an opportunity to train as opposed to rehab coming off a broken ankle, Skip, you’re rehabbing. You’re not training, you’re just trying to get back to where you work. Now he’s able to train he’s able to get ahead skills.”
He added, “The problem is, is that they keep trying to make that something that he’s not. Dak is not a top 10 quarterback. Now we’ve seen him get off to a great start, but we’ve never had him see him have great finishes, except last year when they played them terrible team. And it gave you a false sense. And I told you to get that’s a false sense that you have over there.”
It will be interesting to see how Dak Prescott will react to all these talks about him. The Cowboys quarterback is determined to have a great season for his team. Hopefully, he’ll be able to do it, and shut his critics.
