Playing at the highest level of football since his early years, Tom Brady has earned himself the numero uno spot in football by slogging day-in and day-out against the best players. Having suffered from bruises, tears, and muscle injuries throughout his career – Brady remains to be one of those players who have never been ruled out of the seasons due to fitness.
While many applaud the sporting genes in Tom Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl Champ credits his personal trainer Alex Geurrero for such a stat. When appeared on the weekly podcast of ‘Let’s Go’, there was an interesting take revealed whether the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Quarterback could have retired 8 to 10 years ago, if it wasn’t for Alex.
California Cool replied, “Definitely. I tell him that all the time. I mean, he’s, he’s the secret for me. It’s a one-man show and football is such a contact sport. It’s, you know, it’s one thing to prepare for the season and so forth. But so much of the sport involves recovery in football is a demolition derby. How quickly can you repair your body to be prepared for next weekend?”
Tom Brady till date competes against the modern-day QBs for MVP accolade
To those who are not aware Tom Brady and Alex Geurrero’s bond is much deeper than one could realise. The latter is also the TB12. Moreover, Brady learned entirely from Alex on how a fitness brand needs to be created and Geurrero seems to be working at the helm of making TB12 successful.
It has been 15 years since Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ QB and Alex Geurrero have been working together. Safe to say, even after working day-in and day-out, Brady’s fitness remains on point even at the age of 45 only because of his personal trainer, who leaves no stone unturned in making him better.
After suffering 2 consecutive defeats via the hands of Packers and Chiefs in Week 3 and 4 respectively, will Tom Brady be able to lead his side once again to the victory line in the successive week? Remains to be seen.
