Time seems to be running out for Tom Brady and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers to make improvements and amends in their roster. With the trade deadline almost upon on – the offensive voids of this team are out – in the open, and to make matters worse, each team is utilizing it for their own benefit.
Given that Tom Brady, the 7xSuper Bowl Champ had perhaps taken the most outrageous risk of unretiring only to throw the dice for one last time in a bid to add to his silverware tally, it doesn’t seem like his decision was worth spoiling his marital life. This year hasn’t been the same for Brady as he has been unable to drag his team out of crucial games, in clutch situation.
As a result of which the Bucs have dropped 5 out of their eight games in the 2022-23 regular season. In their most recent game against Lamar Jackson’s Ravens, Tom Brady’s men started off well and took a 7-point lead in the first half. It was only the third quarter that made sure Ravens took the top honors in this game. What was left? A depleted Bucs side trying to make a comeback.
NFL Analyst Ryan Clark too ripped apart Tom Brady and WR – Mike Evans for failing to make use of their experience. Clark pointed out that it was Evans who failed the team, now this time around – it was Brady.
“These two just can’t get right! Last week Mike Evans was b*tt, b**ty naked & this week he’s out there even open. Last week Evans dropped it & this one Brady overthrows him,” Evans wrote in his tweet.
Having dropped 3 consecutive games, can the Bucs make certain moves before the trade deadline to make improvements in their offensive unit, to help out Tom Brady? Remains to be seen.
