Mike McCarthy, the Head Coach of Dallas Cowboys is all set to return with his in form in Week 10. Ahead of the highly anticipated matchup against the depleted Green Bay Packers, McCarthy addressed his true emotions upon returning to face his old team.
Mike McCarthy stressed upon addressing potential distractions with the Cowboys. Additionally, he made the media aware that he doesn’t expect distractions to be an issue in Week 10. With a 6-2 record so far in the 2022-23 regular season, McCarthy knows the value of each game and win if his team is to top the division or even maintain the second seed in their respective division.
“Emotional? I think really, it’s just like anything in this league, you have to get ready to go win. That’s where my mind is. …Obviously, I have great memories in Green Bay,” McCarthy said, as per Michael Gehlken. “Trust me: I’m the last person who ever wants to create a distraction or questions for somebody else. …I’m very grateful for my time there.”

While Mike McCarthy’s team has been impressive in their first eight games of the 2022-23 regular season. On the other hand, Green Bay Packers have suffered a humiliating stint of five losses, their latest was against the Detroit Lions this past weekend.
However Mike McCarthy will be aware of the Aaron Rodgers and what he can do. Given that the reigning MVP has been out of form so far, McCarthy will be aware of what he can do at any point in the game. That being said, Green Bay Packers will have extra motivation going up against their former coach in Mike McCarthy. Additionally, there is always underlying tension when these NFC foes go head-to-head.
