Ndamukong Suh has recently joined the resilient Philadelphia Eagles, being on the best defensive tackles in the league. Having always taken a stand to voice his opinion, and this time around it was him to just point out faults in Joe Biden’s America and what has been going wrong under the tenure of the current President of the United States.
It wasn’t about politics or anything irritational, but Ndamukong Suh posted a chart of the annual income needed to afford a median-price home. As per the spoken off chart, the income needs to buy a home is a minimum of 107$ while the average American income is only $67k.
In simpler terms, potential home buys in the States had to earn over $107 to meet the median monthly mortgage amount of over $2.6k for a home in the month of October.
As per Melissa Cohn, the regional vice president at William Raveis Mortgage, the main reason for this is the upsurge in mortgage interest rates by saying, “The bottom line is mortgage rates have more than doubled since the beginning of the year.”
This isn’t the first time Ndamukong Suh has raised his opinion on the same matter. The 5xPro Bowler was even interview in 2021 on Business Casual podcast wherein he spoke about the importance of financial literacy.
He said, “And I think that’s where I think it’s very important for people to have financial literacy, be a part of the schooling, whether that’s when they’re young youth in middle school or in high school, but especially when you get to college because there’s a ton of things that you encounter as you’re going through your young adult life.”
