Russell Wilson hasn’t had the best of his starts after securing a big money move from Seattle Seahawks to Denver Broncos in the 2022-23 offseason. With a deal being worth of $230 Million, it seems like the veteran Quarterback has failed to deliver to his hype just yet for his newest team and its fanbase.
While people might only witness the struggles of Russell Wilson adjusting to his new unit, his wife Ciara Wilson too has tried her best to re-establish her music career in a relatively new environment. On the same note recently, she even opened up about the struggles she faced while moving to a new place with her husband – Russell Wilson.
“Denver’s amazing. The altitude is a beast. Walking up three — just like one flight of stairs, I’m like, ‘Okay, I need some water. I need to take a deep breath. I got to come back. Alright, I’m back,’” the 36-year-old model and Russell Wlson’s wife said to the reporter in an exclusive interview. “I mean, it’s really something, and you feel it, but it’s been incredible.”
“The fans have been amazing. The food is amazing. The way to my heart is good. I’m so happy. I love our home. My kids are happy in school. I love Denver — it’s pretty amazing,” she added.
That being said, while Ciara seems to be happy in a new place, the same cannot be said for Russell Wilson. Although the veteran Quarterback is trying to perform at the best of his abilities, his wavelength with his teammates hasn’t matches just yet.
After a disappointing start to the 2022-23 season, time is running against Russell Wilson to make an impact with the Denver Broncos. With majority of personnel in and around the NFL world already questioning the move, will Russell be able to make his best ever comeback? Remains to be seen.
