New Kansas City Chiefs safety Justin Reid converted a 65-yard field goal in practice, and the NFL fans went crazy after seeing it.
The Kansas City Chiefs signed safety Justin Reid earlier in the offseason. The Chiefs brought him to fill in the void left by star player Tyrann Mathieu, who later signed with the New Orleans Saints.
The Chiefs went with Reid because he was much younger than Mathieu, and the franchise thinks that Reid will be the best option for them moving forward. Replacing the honey-badger won’t be easy for Reid, but he is a talented player.
The training camp is underway, and Reid is playing well there. Recently, Justin Reid was seen practicing field goals. He even converted a 65-yard field goal which isn’t normal.
Not many kickers in the league can convert a field goal from such a distance. Reid who is a safety doing it makes it more impressive. The NFL fans went crazy after seeing Justin Reid convert that. Moreover, they drew similarities between him and Ravens kicker Justin Tucker. Since their first name is the same, they thought the player named Justin are automatically good kickers.
Here are some of the best fan reactions to Justin Reid converting that 65-yard field goal in the training camp for the Kansas City Chiefs:
