Have the Los Angeles Rams become over-confident after clinching the prestigious Super Bowl last time around? Their choices surely suggest the same especially after they let go of Von Miller and have given no official assurance to Odell Beckham Jr.
Their Week 1 loss against the Buffalo Bills has got sports media personality – nick Wright insanely worried. During the latest episode of First Thing First, the 37-year-old analyst described the issues which bring him major concerns when thinking about the system flowing inside the Los Angeles Rams.
He quoted, “The bigger story for the season and for the league is how utterly and… I will use the word – incompetent, the (Los Angeles) Rams looked in every phase. I jotted down these notes during the game and in no particular order – Every third down for Buffalo is simply a lot. That was midway through the second quarter, they were 9-of-10. Okay, is Allen Robinson actually a Ram? I even jotted that down and I’m not certain.”
Can the Los Angeles Rams bounce back after season-demeaning loss in Week 1?
Aaron Donald and Bobby Wagner finished with a sack piece and the rest of the Los Angeles Rams’ defense line had four turnovers. To summarize the chaotic opening night, the defense gave up 31 points and even left the opposition’s WRs wide open on many occasions.
Wright added, “Does the kick returner know the new rules? He just kept returning kicks. Was Sean McVay drinking before the halftime? No, I don’t think so but he used the timeout for Buffalo and then he was like, ‘hey guys don’t worry about it. My plan for the end of the half is that we are not going to need more points.’”
The Los Angeles Rams Head Coach – Sean McVay is under. 500 for the first time in his career after his side suffered a brutal 31-10 loss on Thursday night. While the Bills does full credit as Josh Allen and Von Miller led emphatically them, it was only Coope Kupper who came out with the positive light for Rams.
It is indeed safe to say, that the problem might be huge but it starts with the improvement of the offensive line for the Los Angeles Rams. Will we witness any chance in their next showdown against the Atlanta Falcons? Remains to be seen.
