Dallas Cowboys signing TY Hilton in place of Odell Beckham Jr. has given die-hard fan and analyst Skip Bayless wondering and ready to state that the free agent perhaps is not ready to make his appearance on the football field.
Moreover, Bayless emphasized how Jerry Jones, the owner of Dallas Cowboys, is still not convinced upon Odell Beckham Jr. being in the right shape to take forwards for his team. Especially with the season reaching is business end, Jones signing Hilton over Beckham Jr. is more of a statement of intent.
Skip Bayless said on the latest episode of Undisputed, “Jerry Jones is enamored with the idea of Odell wearing the star on his helmet. It’s not going to happen this year. Odell is not ready to go, and he’s not quite ready for the start of next year.”
As per Marca, the experienced Wide Receiver is ready to sit out of the rest of the 2022-3 season as he is focused on getting into full heath and shape before hitting the football field. The 30-year-old is a proven commodity down the stretch, as he signed for the Los Angeles Rams last year and starred, scoring seven touchdowns en route to the team winning Super Bowl LVI. That is just why teams wanted to sign him in the first place.
However, given the fact that the regular season is almost about to end and there cannot be any more mistakes made in the playoffs, teams could have a different outlook for Odell Beckham Jr.
That being said, he has already visited Giants, Cowboys and Bills recently, yet he remains a free agent despite such fair share of interest from top teams even at this point.
