10-time Pro Bowler Aaron Rodgers is reportedly in a dilemma on what the future holds for him in 2022

A new day brings new doubt over Aaron Rodgers’ future with the Green Bay Packers. The four-time NFL MVP is now reportedly unsure of where he plans to play his football in the upcoming season, after having spoken to a number of teams.

However, the serial losers here seem to be the Packers, who are still waiting on Rodgers to make a final decision. It is believed that the Packers are still hopeful that Rodgers might stay with the team for 2022 as they have plans to build a team around him.

Rodgers had previously opted not to attend the Packers’ preseason training camp last year. It was clear that he didn’t want to play a part with the franchise. However, after several meetings and Zoom calls with top members of the Packers’ board, Rodgers opted to stay with the team.

While the Packers were dumped out of the playoffs in the first round last season, the 38-year-old Rodgers has to decide whether he can still commit to another year with the franchise. With age also not on his side, all signs point towards Rodgers leaving Green Bay.

Will Aaron Rodgers leave the Packers?

Rodgers’ current deal with the Packers expires at the end of 2022. However, there is plenty of doubt of whether he will be at Green Bay before the start of the new season.

According to reports, Aaron Rodgers has already got specific deals lined up by various suitors in the NFL. The teams also have trade compensations for the Packers. The potential moves have surprisingly been arranged by the Packers as they seem to be losing hope with Rodgers.

More so, the franchise does not want to stand in the way of the player leaving Green Bay. Rodgers has been with the Packers since 2005 and helped the team win the Super Bowl in 2011.

However, teams from AFC Division are reportedly tipped as favourites to sign Rodgers. The Denver Broncos, Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers are believed to be in the hat.
