Modern-day NFL Fans are not accustomed to see Aaron Rodgers struggle with the Green Bay Packers. However, the 2022-23 season, hasn’t unfolded in the same manner for the reigning MVP. The latest to justify this claim is the Green Bay Packers’ loss against the Washington Commanders 23-21.
Aaron Rodgers has an inexperienced attack alongside him. With their nerves getting the better of them, more often than not, Packers are gradually slipping places in the respective division. Which made Aaron Rodgers visibly point out the shortcoming in his teams and unit, which wasn’t taken well by Greg Jennings.
First let’s take a look at what was said by Aaron Rodgers. According to NFL.com, he quoted, “Because there’s too many times in the game where there’s simple, simple things just are not being accomplished. Guys who are making too many mistakes shouldn’t be playing, you know. Gotta start cutting some reps, and maybe guys who aren’t playing, give them a chance.”

While the Packers have gone onto only secure a tally of 3-4 after the first seven weeks, Aaron Rodgers himself, hasn’t been at his best. Given that each team is trying to experiment and solidify their combinations, Rodgers did point out fingers. Take a look at how Packers Hall of Famers reacted on it.
Greg Jennings said, “You can’t do this … You can’t sit down on a show and start talking about who should and shouldn’t be playing because of mental errors.”
While Packers are struggling to consistently register wins in the NFC North division, Minnesota Vikings have been the surprise package. Will Aaron Rodgers be able to lead his lead to edge past Vikings in the remaining weeks? Will be an interesting story to keep an eye on.
