The Seattle Seahawks are looking forward to signing their star wide receiver DK Metcalf to a long-term deal so that he can be a part of the franchise for the long run as he is one of the most important players on their team now
The head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, Pete Carroll talked about DK Metcalf and said, “It’s really important to us. We love him. He maybe will go down as one of the great drafts picks we’ve ever had here.”, He added, “We are going to do everything we can to get it done.”
It is clear that the Seahawks despite being in a type of rebuild mode want to keep DK Metcalf and will try everything to keep him as he is one of the most important assets on this team.
It will be interesting to see what will be DK Metcalf’s decision will be related to his contract extension as he will look to play with a good quarterback that can make this team a contender again and trade away Russell Wilson to the Broncos has certainly not helped that.
How can the Seahawks convince DK Metcalf to stay at the franchise?
The Seattle Seahawks are currently having Drew Lock as tehir quarterback and he certainly is not one of the best quarterbacks in the league but he can certainly fill in the place until an elite QB becomes available to sign or draft.
DK Metcalf has however supported Drew Lock as he certainly thinks that he can be a good option for this team and can certainly carry the team through this season atleast.
