The NFL World has been a kind place for Denver Broncos #1 Quarterback – Russell Wilson, who has been nothing less than a misfit. Having had huge hype when he arrived from Seattle, Wilson has gone to a downhill extent wherein his teammates lost their cool on him, being on the field.
Being 3-8 after the end of Week 12, their playoff aspirations are all dead and buried as they are standing last in the AFC West. What makes matters worse for them is? Broncos do not even have their first-and-second round picks for the next NFL Draft. On the same note Emmanuel Acho got brutally honest on Russell Wilson.
Former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker spoke on the latest episode of Speak, wherein quoted, “Russell Wilson is doing something that no player in NFL history has ever done. He might be playing himself out of the Hall of Fame. Think about this for a second. We all thought Russell Wilson was a Hall of Famer, there are seven Hall of Famers of the generation, but only one, Russell Wilson, is hanging on by a thread.”
Emmanuel Acho on Russell Wilson’s Hall of Fame candidature
Having thrown just five TouchDowns in the entire 2022-23 season, Russell Wilson has failed to make his offensive line reach the endzone, game-after-game-after-game.
Acho concluded by stating, “It has really plagued my mind… the Hall of Fame status with as bad as the season has been, he’s playing himself out of the Hall of Fame.”
Apart from Wilson, the only highlight which the Denver Broncos would be keeping a close eye is, on their defense who has presented itself well. Will there be many changes coming to this franchise in the coming months? Remains to be seen.
