Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde could very well be side-lined for the Buffalo Bills ahead of Week 3 action against the best offense they have faced all season. Having played so well defensively in both of their opening showdown, the Bills could be short-handed with one of their most important players being out of the action on Saturday.
With the team announcing that Micah Hyde has suffered from a neck injury, the chances of him contesting against the Miami Dolphins are shrill. Moreover, with Jordan Poyer also being reported to be out of action for Week 3, the Bills could lead themselves to uncharted territory – especially with the Dolphins being in fine offensive touch.
For Hyde, this would only be the third regular season game, he would be missing out upon for the Buffalo Bills. Earlier he missed one in 2018 and the other in 2020.
Having already had multiple defensive starters being ruled out due to respective injuries, Jordan Poyer’s status is being considered one day at a time, as per coach – Sean McDermott. The concern for Buffalo Bills would obviously be high as without Jordan Poyer, Micah Hyde – they are locking horns against a team which has Tyreek Hill, who leads the league in receiving yards (284).
Given that Jordan Poyer had just signed a revised contract with the Buffalo Bills, which will give him more incentives. His absence could play a huge role in deciding the terms of his extension. But for the 31-years-old, he still wishes to be a part of the same team for perhaps many more years to come.
That being said, after completing a historic comeback against the Baltimore Ravens, will the Miami Dolphins be able to outscore a depleted Buffalo Bills side? Or will the offense of Bills, courtesy to Tyreek Hill and Tua Tagovailoa be on song, once again in registering another impactful victory for their side? Remains to be seen.
