Myles Garrett returned to the Cleveland Browns headquarters on Thursday after crashing his Porsche in devastating manner. While many were concerned how did this incident take place as the pictures of his car looked highly disturbing, it comes to be known that the All-Pro was over the recommended speed.
As per Ohio State Highway Patrol, Myles Garrett for speeding – he was going 65 mph in a 45 mph zone. After flipping his care 3-times and hitting the fire hydrant, Garrett suffered a sprained shoulder, strained biceps, several cuts and bruises from the wreck. Moreover, as per the accident report, the defensive end told an officer that he was accelerating up a hill when he saw a vehicle coming in the opposite direction but avoided making swerving manoeuvres to avoid a crash.
After the accident Myles Garrett along with the female passenger he was travelling, were taken to Akron General Hospital for emergency care. While the 23-year-old had no major injuries, the passenger suffered from a minor head injury. Eventually the pair was released after few hours from the hospital.

Interestingly this is not the first time Myles Garrett has had a tiff with speeding. He was also ticketed on consecutive days in Medina County last year for driving 120 mph. In the other instance, his speed was tracked as 99 mph in a 70 mph zone. This only goes onto show the driving nature of the Cleveland Browns’ marquee. But perhaps, this latest lesson might have taught him a good lesson on how to obey the speeding limits.
Defensive coordinator Joe Woods even informed that although Myles Garrett hasn’t participated in the practice session so far, but is being considered on a day-to-day basis to see his chances of playing on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
Apart from Garrett, the Cleveland Browns were missing some other crucial defensive elements, indicating that this could be a tough week for the team.
