Cincinnati Bengals will be without their standout star Ja’Marr Chase for the third consecutive game when they lock horns against Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11. Having sustained a hip injury, the Pro Bowl wide receiver is expected to make his way back on the football field around the time his team will lock horns against Tennessee Titans.

Being 1-1 without Ja’Marr Chase, a star who hadn’t missed any game prior the above-mentioned injury, the Bengals are 5-4 in the first 10 weeks are behind the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North division.

Chase’s absence was clear in the team’s loss on Halloween night against the Browns (32-13). However, Cincinnati Bengals were able to turn things around in just 6 days of their blowout loss against the Carolina Panthers, where running back Joe Mixon stole all the headlines with his emphatic tally of five TouchDowns.

The 22-year-old showed his presence in the team’s inaugural game, wherein he caught 10 passes for 129 yards and a TouchDown in Cincinnati’s loss to Pittsburgh Steelers only in Week 1. Before being side-lined due to his hip injury, Chase caught a combined 15 passes for 262 yards and four touchdowns in Bengals wins over.

That being said, if the Bengals are to do well without Chase, Mixon would once again have to support Joe Burrow in the same manner showed previously.

Given that their team has several tough opponents lined up against them, it is important for the reigning Super Bowl contending team to register consecutive victories anyhow.
