New York Giants have been well above every body’s expectation in the 2022-23 regular season. With Coach Brian Daboll taking charge of the team, he has framed a solid mindset which allows his players to take the game deep. With the same motive, it seems like the Giants have set their sight on one player who can surely take them past the winning line in the fourth quarter. None other than Denver Broncos’ WR – Jerry Jeudy.
To bring everyone on the same page – the Giants are 6-2, very well on the course of making their first playoff appearance since 2016. They are currently tied with the Dallas Cowboys, who are also 6-2 after the initial 8 weeks of footballing drama. However, their most recent loss against the Seattle Seahawks made their voids come out in the open.
Moreover, with Denver Broncos failing to live up to their hype in the current regular season, players like Bradley Chubb and Jerry Jeudy could well be on their way out. On the same note, Giants want to reunite Brian Daboll with Jerry Jeudy to bring back the magic from their Alabama days.
To those who are unaware about this potential move, New York Giants were linked with Jeudy before Sunday’s NFL action and after they sent wide receiver Kadarius Toney to the Kansas City Chiefs for a compensatory third-round pick and a sixth-round pick last week.
Especially with Giants looking to strengthen their unit before the deadline, Jerry Jeudy could be huge addition, which could make them compete against the best team in the knockout stage with much more confidence.
The only problem is that New York Giants needs to match the asking price of the Denver Broncos, especially after the latter team improved their tally to 3-5. What drama awaits in this looked after trade prospect? Remains to be seen.
