The star pair for Dallas Cowboys – Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott have been fined for unsportsmanlike conduct. The pair could be looking for some sort of financial salvation as the league penalized them for their TouchDown celebration against the depleted Indianapolis Colts in Week 13.
Before getting deep into the story, take a look at the celebration by Elliott and Prescott in the video placed below-
As per Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk, “The NFL fined two more Cowboys players for their Salvation Army kettle celebrations. Quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott each were docked $13,261 for unsportsmanlike conduct.”
Dallas Cowboys made a statement on Saturday against the Colts, they not won by bullied and humiliated the opposition with a scoreline of 54-19. Talking particularly about the performance of the two penalized players – Dak Prescott threw for just 170 passing yards on 20 of 30 completions but threw for three highly-impressive TouchDowns. On the other hand, Elliott rushed 17 times for 77 yards and a TouchDown as well.
That being said, both these players have a huge paycheck and would probably will not even consider this fine hefty on their pockets. But the NFL surely laid out a word on its players going beyond the line and celebrating.
With this win, the Cowboys are on a three-game winning streak and will look to secure their 9th victory of the campaign against the Houston Texans in their Week 14 contest.
