Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is ready to face his former quarterback and franchise legend Russell Wilson in the opening week.
Seattle Seahawks legend Russell Wilson was traded to the Denver Broncos earlier in the offseason. It marked the end of a great run for the franchise, in which they were a dominant force.
Russell Wilson led the Seahawks to a Super Bowl win, and that will be remembered forever. The Seattle Seahawks will open their campaign with a game against none other than the Broncos.
Russell Wilson will be up against his former team in the first game of his new franchise. However, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll isn’t concerned with that factor and is aiming to win that game.
Talking about the game to Adam Schefter, Carroll said, “It’s Ball Game, It’s Championship Ball Game Time. That’s All, Ain’t No Different Than That. I’m Gonna Make It One Bit Different I Won’t Talk One Bit Different It’s No Different Than Any Other Game We Play It’s the Biggest Game in the World and We’re Gonna Do Everything We Can to Win It and That’s How We Do We Practice.”
He added, “Learning How to Concentrate and Focus in That Manner So Every Game No Matter What the Situation Is Is of the Same Import and Uh We’re Practicing Like It’s the Championship of the Championship It’ll Be a Blast Our Fans Are Gonna Go Crazy It’s Going to Be as Fun as You Can Get Opened Up the Season on Monday Night It’s Great Stuff…”
