After leading his Tampa Bay Bucs to a terrific victory in the Week 13 contest against divisional rivals New Orleans Saints, Tom Brady will be locking horns against Kyle Shanahan’s San Francisco 49ers. Having shown just why he’s the GOAT, Hall of Famer turned analyst Shannon Sharpe urged how there is no running away for his upcoming opposition.
Brady has always answered his critics, and despite an inconsistent run in the 2022-23 season, Tom Brady has been making things work in his favor. Moreover, this has led to Sharpe making bold claims upon the wrath Kyle Shanahan’s team are going to face.
On the latest episode of Undisputed, he said, “The greats will find any reason to be motivated to try to kill you. I think the extra motivation for Tom Brady is, man, ‘I gotta get my offense playing better. We played better a couple of drives here, a couple of drives there.”
Sharpe urged how Brady might just answer all his critics as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers enter the playoffs. Being 6-6, Brady’s men was looked dangerous on occasions, but their inconsistency is a huge roadblock in their Super Bowl aspirations.
Sharpe added, “I believe there’s motivation in this. Do I believe that he wants to kill the 49ers…? Yeah, I believe he’ll be motivated, but I believe he was extra motivated, because they’re like, man, ‘Tom don’t look like Tom. Tom….like he wants to be somewhere else.'”
That being said, will it be the final time when we witness Brady and his team finally breaking the knot and going past .500? Remains to be seen
