Tom Brady and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers were starting to give a glimmer of hope to their fans by winning consecutive games. However, their morale was blasted by a confident Cleveland Brown’ side who beat them 23-17 in OT. Resulting in Skip Bayless getting a chance to state his true opinion on the former team and their marquee QB.
Even when the Bucs sit at the top of NFC South division, it is not because of their impressive performance but the very division being lopsided. Moreover, what was worse? Tom Brady, himself underperformed, finding it difficult to find his teammates for a TouchDown and his accuracy took an even brutal hit.
“So disappointed in Brady and the Bucs. They should’ve won this game by a couple of touchdowns. Only silver lining: At 5-6 they’re still leading the NFL’s worst division. But this team shows no championship energy or urgency,” Bayless said in his latest tweet.
Having a game’s edge over the Atlanta Falcons, Brady’s men need to pick out form before the start of the playoffs. It is clear to this point that Brady needs to pull up his socks, if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are to do well in this season.
They have shown signs of dominance in this season, but inconsistency has haunted them big time.
That being said, next up for Brady and his Bucs await a New Orleans Saints side, who are extremely short-handed. Given that they have been well below-par in this season, can this white and red team make full use of their chance? Would be an interesting storyline to keep your eye on.
