Tampa Bay Buccaneers injury news: Rob Gronkowski is a doubt for Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New England Patriots
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the NFL defending champions will be heading to the Gillette Stadium on the 3rd of October.
They were beaten by the soaring Los Angeles Rams, who handed them their first defeat of the season.
The Buccaneers are currently 2-1 in the 2021 NFL season after victories over the Dallas Cowboys and the Atlanta Falcons in the first two fixtures.
The Patriots, on the other hand have been struggling to find form. They have won just one and lost two.
With the game just a couple of days away, Bruce Arians, the coach of Buccaneers provided the injury update for Gameweek 4.
Arians stated that Rob Gronkowski would most probably sit out for the game against the Patriots, placing him in the game-time decision list. The tight end is recovering from a rib injury.
Gronk was a part of the practice on Friday, but did not take part in practice regularly.
Outside Linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul who is currently recovering from a hand and shoulder injury took part in practice for the first time since September 15.
However, coach Arians revealed that Pierre-Paul would be missing the game.
Other names set to miss the game against the Patriots are- Running Back Giovani Bernard and Cornerback Jamel Dean – both out due to knee injuries.
