However, with rookie running back Breece Hall being ruled out entire season due to ACL tear, this team needed to acquire a promising talent to make amends. Result of which they have turned their attention towards James Robinson.

Right before the trade deadline, the Jets have gone onto trade for James Robinson from the Jacksonville Jaguar at a relatively low cost. The move has been admired and applauded by various sections in the NFL world.

James Robinson saw his role getting decreased with the rise of Travis Etienne for the Jaguars. In exchange, the Jets sent a conditional sixth-round pick that can become a fifth-rounder to the Jaguars. In simpler terms, they have given every sign that they are locked in to battle hard for the playoffs spot in the 2022-23 season only.

That being said, there are surely reasons to believe that James Robinson can be a breakout star for the Jets, if he plays to his full potential.
