It seems like former San Diego Toreros’s tight end Dalton Kincaid has made it big on the global stage, in just a few years of exposure in the world of football. Having earned the All-State and All-Conference honors after tallying 745 yards and eight touchdowns in that particular high school season. With glimpses already shown, San Diego Toreros is one team who has seen the best of this youngster.

After taking a transfer to Utah, trying to build upon his upward trajectory, Kincaid took the center stage in a grand game, wherein the #20 Utes defeated #7 USC, 43-42, to salvage their hopes of returning to the Pac-12 Conference championship – the spoken off young and emerging tight end, had the biggest game of his career. In simpler terms he may have had the biggest game of any tight end in the history of Utah football.

With the game being ever so close, keeping everybody on the edge of their respective seat, Dalton Kincaid caught all 16 passes quarterback Cam Rising sent his way. In the process, he gained 234 yards and even registered a touchdown.

Can Dalton Kincaid become the next big thing in NFL?

However, this wasn’t about Dalton Kincaid, he seems to be helping him teammates shine as well. His QB, had his own stellar showing with the most passing yards, registered at a tally of 415 of any Ute since 2005. Safe to safe, it was in no small part because of his connection with Dalton Kincaid.

Now to emphasize of the heroics of the latter star, that seems to be ringing in every top team’s draft pick, he had the second-most receptions in a game of any player in school history. Kincaid trailed only Carl Harry, who had 255 vs. Idaho State in 1988. Harry was a wide receiver.

Furthermore, he seems to be working hard to get his talent on the right side of applause. Having started five games this season, Dalton Kincaid often fell in fellow Tight End Brant Kuithe’s shadow. However, Kuithe suffered a season-ending knee injury in the team’s Pac-12 opener at Arizona State. This was only an opportunity for the marquee tight end to make a name for himself. On the same note, on Saturday, in front of a RES-record crowd of 53,609, he did.
