Cleveland Browns are aware about what is required for them to pave their way into the playoffs. Knowing that they need to change their fortune, Browns went onto stun the Cincinnati Bengals in their latest matchup on Monday night which surely got Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless excited.
The most interesting sight was how the Cleveland Browns’ defense locked up marquee Quarterback – Joe Burrow. To those who missed the spoken off game, let me bring you on the same page. Burrow was sacked five times and was also held to 25-of-35 passing for 232 yards. Moreover, he even had an interception on the opening drive well and forced a fumble as well. Take a look how Skip Bayless reacted on it.
Skip Bayless wrote in his tweet, “The Browns just OWN Joe Burrow and the Bengals. But that’s about all they own.”
After keeping Joe Burrow quiet, the Brown bullied Bengals on the offensive end as well. They seemed to have got everything going their way, gaining 440 yards including 172 on the ground. The two stars who need to be mentioned are – Nick Chubb, who rushed for 101 yards and two TouchDowns, and Jacoby Brissett who threw for 275+ yards and one TouchDown.
“I have been beating myself up about that a lot just because that has been like sitting on my heart,” said Jacoby Brissett, as per USAToday. “I always told myself if I ever get that opportunity again, I am going to make the right decision.”
That being the Cleveland Brown are now 3-5 after the first eight weeks of the 2022-23 regular season. They would now be heading into their bye week with the right mindset and momentum, especially knowing the team they have beaten.
