“THE DISRESPECT!!!”- Nick Wright isn’t happy with Buffalo Bills being a favorite against the Kansas City Chiefs next week

Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs are arguably looking to be one of the finest teams in the 2022-23 season. Having endured a painful and heartbreaking loss in the previous season, it seems like this team is seeking vengeance in this campaign. The next challenge for them is the #1 team of AFC East – Buffalo Bills.

While Josh Allen has truly been phenomenal for his team, Bills have not backed down in front of any of their opponents in this 2022-23 campaign. Having being edged out by the Miami Dolphins in Week 3, the Bills have made sure that they have once again gained momentum after beating Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 4 and 5 respectively.

On the other hand, Kansas City Chiefs have suffered from a shocking loss against the Indianapolis Colts. Looking to suffer from the same fate against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5, as they trailed 17-0. It was Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce who managed to lead a resounding comeback for their team and eventually extend their winnign streak to 2.

Nick Wright baffled by Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs being underdogs vs Buffalo Bills

Nick Wright stated in his latest tweet, “Patrick Mahomes was favored in 38 straight games. Then, he was an underdog to the (at the time) #1 defense in the NFL & Brady… he hung 41 on them. Then, he orchestrated a 17pt comeback against a divisional rival. Now… he’s an UNDERDOG AT HOME VS BUF! THE DISRESPECT!!!”

Wright does raise a valid point, be it Tampa Bay buccaneers or Las Vegas Raiders, Patrick Mahomes has inspired the Kansas City Chiefs to outplay their opponents until the last minute. Given that there have only been a handful of teams who have looked in a better rhythm than Kansas City Chiefs, in Week 6 they will lock horns against one such team itself. Will they be able to come out of top? Remains to be seen.
