The latest news from the world of NFL indicates Lamar Jackson turning down the contract extension offers from Baltimore Ravens only to bet upon himself. To those who are not aware, Lamar Jackson is one of the handful players in the league who represents themselves. This means that Lamar Jackson will play the current season on the fifth-year option of his rookie contract itself. Which will help him make over $23 Million. The only modern-day Quarterback over the past five years to receive the ‘tag’ was Dak Prescott, who too eventually reached an agreement with his Dallas Cowboys.

However, Head Coach – John Harbaugh was quick to bury all rumors of Lamar Jackson parting ways with the team as he mentioned that just because the two concerned sides could not reach to an affirmative agreement, doesn’t mean that the spoken-off player has been left out of the franchise’s future plans.
