Week after week, things are looking to go downhill for the reigning MVP – Aaron Rodgers. From being shocked by the Minnesota Vikings in the respective division, there are high chances (as per the current form and scenario) that the Green Bay Packers might not even feature in the playoffs this season. This has only gone onto enable more personnel pointing figures at the team’s #1 Quarterback.
For those who missed Buffalo Bills vs Green Bay Packers’ showdown, Aaron Rodgers unit might not be far behind on points, but they were way off from their best form. Speaking on the ‘Chris Simms Unbuttoned’ Chris Simms claimed that the box score was manipulated by none other than Aaron Rodgers.
After blaming his teammates previously, Simms accused Aaron Rodgers of keeping intact his scoresheet, making his image look better while his team suffered yet another brutal loss, this time against Bills.
Chris Simms on Aaron Rodgers
Simms quoted, “At the end of the day, first off, Green Bay has to change. I don’t care what anybody says. The stats on this game are so misleading. And even here in some of the postgame press conference (coaches are getting questions) like ‘The game was close and that you guys did good things and look at the stats.'”
He then decided to end his note on how far Aaron Rodgers is from the other in-form QBs and what amends he should make as early as possible.
“This is to me where context matters and we’re going to look back on the end of the year and go, ‘Well, they had a pretty good day against Buffalo’ and you got to go, ‘No, they didn’t. They had 76 yards when they were down 27 to 10 passing the football. That’s just not acceptable. You’re not going to get it done.’”
