San Francisco 49ers seem to have thrown their final roll of the dice by acquiring Christian McCaffery from the Carolina Panthers for multiple picks, in order to make a valid run in the playoffs. Having met with an unfortunate exit deep into the season last seasons, San Francisco are doing everything to complete their turnaround in the 2022-23 season.
Although any particular team would be happy to acquire Christian McCaffrey, 49ers’ have finally added the last weapon at Jimmy Garoppolo’s disposal alongside Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk and Elijah Mitchell. On one hand where McCaffrey has abundance of potential, yet his injury woes are always something to be kept in mind.

Injuries might be a concern for Christian McCaffrey. But if he stays healthy, this player possesses the trait to change the course of the game on its head, single-handedly. Moreover, with his clutch ability already being strong, that could even reach greater heights under Kyle Shanahan.
