Although any particular team would be happy to acquire Christian McCaffrey, 49ers’ have finally added the last weapon at Jimmy Garoppolo’s disposal alongside Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk and Elijah Mitchell. On one hand where McCaffrey has abundance of potential, yet his injury woes are always something to be kept in mind.

Wright quoted on the latest episode of First Thing First, “They got a Bentley in the driveway and it’s going to be fun till it breaks down. But that bill is going to come. It doesn’t make a lot of sense for a team that the whole idea of the Shanahan system is any running back. They now, in the last two drafts, the last few drafts, and now this, these picks will have dedicated to the running back position: one second, three thirds, a fourth, a fifth, and a sixth, plus about $14 Million in cap space.”
