Denver Broncos and Nathaniel Hackett’s first year stint hasn’t been decent at all. With a tally of 3-8 after the end of Week 12, it is safe to say that the Russell Wilson is well out of the playoff contention. However, as the temperament in and around the franchise is raging, Hackett reveals that no one is more disappointed than him after dropping seven out of the last eight games.
Nathaniel Hackett’s team suffered their most recent loss against the Carolina Panthers who were being led by Sam Darnold. This game showcased that the Broncos’ defense cracked open in a 23-10 road loss as they were thumped with pressure of carrying the team, courtesy to a depleted offensive unit.
“Nobody’s as frustrated as I am,” Broncos Head Coach Nathaniel Hackett said Monday, as per NFL. “This is not where we wanted to be at this time in the season. None of us thought it was going to be like that and that responsibility is fully on me. I want to be the one that can do everything to help this football team. Because we as a group have to come together and try to find a way to win a football game.”
Situation seems to have reached its worst possible stage as Mike Purcell evidently revealed the frustration with Pro Bowl QB – Russell Wilson in loss to Panthers. The latter has been abysmal to say the least for his newest team, finding difficult to find his own players, and to make his presence felt on the offensive end.
“I’m the most frustrated,” Hackett added. “I think our fans are great. They want to win. Just like we all do. I don’t blame them for being frustrated. For me, all I know is the work. Put my head down with our staff.
“I believe in this staff, believe in these players. And we’ve got to get better plays, better execution across the board.”
