New York Jets surely have gotten some issues, within their organization, to deal with after Week 11 loss against the New England Patriots. A 10-3 loss triggered QB Zach Wilson to blame the defensive unit, whereas rookie Garrett Wilson went out to highlight the abysmal offensive performance of his teammates.

With two young players having such contrary views, literally opposing one another. It seems to be clear that the internal issues are to be sorted at the earliest for the Jets. Interestingly, this was Wilson’s worst game of the 2022-23 season completing 9 of 22 passes for a paltry 77 yards, 3.5 yards per attempt, and was sacked four times.

“This sh*t is sorry,” Wilson said. “We’re out here looking sorry — and we know that we’re not sorry. That’s why it really hurts. We know that we’re better than that. That’s why it hurts.”

In a tale of two Wilsons for the Jets, it seems Garrett Wilson is standing firm in his views of why Jets came up short against an unpredictable New England Patriots.

“It starts in practice,” Garrett Wilson said as per NFL.com. “It’s got to be better, the things we see and don’t call out. It has to start getting called out. This is unacceptable. No one wants to feel like this, but that’s not enough. You’ve got to do something about it. Hopefully, this is a wake-up for some people in the facility, people in the facility to get on their details.”

Moving away from Garett and Zach Wilson. The Jets were pathetic in the second half. On seven second-half drives, Gang Green netted 2 yards, in total. Two yards on 26 plays is about as grotesque a performance as you can get. This is just what the New York Jets moved did against their divisional rivals.

Moreover, the Jets threw the ball 2.77 inches per play in two full quarters of football. They couldn’t gain a Snickers bar worth of yardage per play. Summarizing just why Garett Wilson was frustrated with the offensive unit.
