Tom Brady had earlier announced his retirement from the NFL following the exit of his team against the Los Angeles Rams

Tom Brady had recently officially announced his retirement from the NFL after playing for 22 seasons. He spent the major part of his career playing for the New England Patriots and during his last two seasons, he played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The world thought that Brady was finally done, and a return to the game seemed unlikely but once again he has shocked the entire world.

He has announced that he will be coming back to play his 23rd season in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is ready to go again for another Super Bowl.

Taking to Twitter, Brady tweeted:

“These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG.”

Rumors about him coming back from retirement and joining the San Francisco 49ers next season had gathered pace but it’s the same team that he will be coming back to play which is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Here are a few reactions to his announcement:

What next for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expected to be one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl once again with the return of Tom Brady.

Gronk and Brady

Tom had helped the Buccaneers to win the Super Bowl in just his first season at the franchise and the goal will be the same for him once again.

The Bucs are expected to make efforts in bringing the majority of last year’s roster as they will make a push towards another Super Bowl run and their team was decent enough to contend for it last season.

We could still see some major moves happening in the free agency, the draft and via trade by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers which will help them to boost their chances of winning the Super Bowl.
