Here is the list of Top 3 players who need to prove their value in NFL Week 3 as their team finally looks to climb out of the hole their put into, in the initial weeks. Especially with each team and player looking to make best use of the early days, to cement their place for the playoffs – these listed stars need to bring out their A-Game anyhow.

Top 3 stars who need to prove their worth in NFL Week 3

Joe Burrow

The Cincinnati Bengals were the ‘ideal’ feel-good team of the 2021-22 season. However, things have gone bad to worse for them since the beginning 2022-23 season. Having endured losses against Pittsburgh Steelers and Dak Prescott-less Dallas Cowboys in the first two games, Joe Burrow has looked out of shape, and unable to lead his side victory.

Not only has Joe Burrow failed to fire, but even the likes only Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins have failed to live up to their hype. If the Bengals are to get past New York Jets (who registered a comeback victory in Week 2), they would need Burrow to bring his A-Game – in terms of accuracy, passing, agility and vision on to the field.

Derrick Henry

Another team who has failed to register any wins in the 2022-23 season is Tennesse Titans, who lost their first game against New York Giants and the next against – Buffalo Bills. Derrick Henry has been another major disappointment until NFL Week 3 at least. Having rushed for just 82 yards on 21 carries in Week 1 to improving to only 21 yards on 13 carries, with a long run of 9 yards, Henry has been well below-par.

If the Titans want to get onto the winning charts vs the Las Vegas Raiders, Derrick Henry will have to show his caliber and just why he belongs amongst the most elite.

Derek Carr

Speaking of the Las Vegas Raiders, they too are yet to register their first win of the 2022 –23 season and NFL Week 3 gives them just that opportunity. In particular, Quarterback – Derek Carr has failed to adapt to the changed offensive strategies under Josh Mcdaniels’ system.

Will we witness the 31-year-old veteran finally stamping his authority in the 2022-23 season? Or will the Raiders fall into a much deeper hole? Remains to be seen as NFL Week 3 unfolds.
