Tyreek Hill, the former Kansas City Chiefs superstar is pretty happy with his new quarterback in Miami.
Tyreek Hill was recently traded to the Miami Dolphins. The former Kansas City Chiefs superstar will not be playing alongside Patrick Mahomes. Instead, he will be playing with Tua Tagovailoa.
People have had concerns regarding whether Tua will be able to throw good balls toward Tyreek, as he has been famous for underthrowing passes throughout his career in the NFL.
However, Tyreek dismissed all those claims. He stated that he has enjoyed practicing with Tua so far, and he has been good. He said, “I mean it’s nothing weird. At first, I thought it was going to be something crazy, the ball going all over the place, but Tua actually has probably one of the prettiest balls I’ve ever caught in my life. It’s very catchable,”
Tyreek added, “I don’t want to continue because the more I talk, the more it sounds weird. Tua is a very accurate quarterback. That’s all I’m going to say.”
Tyreek Hill has no doubts about Tua, claims, “I’m very confident in my quarterback”
Even though the whole world is doubting Tua, Tyreek is very confident in him. He certainly thinks that Tua Tagovailoa can take the Dolphins to newer heights. Their roster is pretty good, and there is a high possibility that they will make some noise this season.
Tyreek continued his praise for Tua and said, “I just feel like football is all about confidence, and I’m very confident in my quarterback, So I just feel like if I’m able to help him get all the confidence in the world and push other guys to push that confidence into him, then the sky’s the limit for the guy because he’s a heck of a talent, has crazy arm strength, arm talent. So like I said, we’re all excited just to watch him sling the ball each and every day.”
With all the pressure on the former Alabama quarterback, he will look to prove his critics wrong. Tua is a good quarterback who lacks confidence, but with such weapons around him, he certainly can elevate his game to the next level.
How difficult is the road ahead for Tua and the Dolphins?
The Miami Dolphins are part of the AFC East. Apart from them, The Buffalo Bills, the New England Patriots, and the New York Jets are also part of the same division. Despite all the talent on their roster, the Dolphins aren’t the best team in their division.
The Buffalo Bills led by Josh Allen is currently by far the best team in their division. They have the most complete roster in the NFL. The Bills are currently the favorites to win the Super Bowl, and the Dolphins have their work cut out for them.
Tua can lead the Dolphins to a playoff spot but they need to take care of the Patriots first. Mac Jones took the Patriots to the playoffs in his first-ever season in the NFL. He is going to get better, and he will be the biggest obstacle for them in the race for the playoffs.
The Dolphins are part of the AFC, and the competition in it is very tough. Almost every team is competing for a playoff spot, and this could really make the road very difficult for Tua and the Dolphins. They’ll need to be at their utmost best to make the playoffs, and the road after that will be paved later.
