Buffalo Bills and their fans were hopeful of witnessing their elite pass-rusher Von Miller in the 2022-23 season again. Initially with the bubble of the remaining games got busted, followed by the myth that he would return in the playoffs.
The latest update indicates that Von Miller had an ACL repair as well and is now done for the 2022 season. In simpler words, he would not be making a return. Important to note, that the Buffalo Bills made huge progress in this campaign with Miller by their sight.
“Bills HC Sean McDermott said DE Von Miller underwent surgery. It was exploratory, and he got an ACL repair. Out for the season.”
How will Bills cope without Von Miller?
Buffalo Bills are currently 1st in the AFC East with Dolphins just a win behind them (.667). With only a handful of games remaining, this team will be looking to secure their berth with multiple wins as New York Jets too can pull a surprise if things go haywire.
Moreover, now with Von Miller out, the defensive unit need to play in the same manner they played against the New England Patriots. Giving a chance to their offensive unit, could perhaps be their best chance to reach the Super Bowl, perhaps this being the most ideal way.
Next up for them is a clutch game against divisional rivals – New York Jets. It will be interesting to see how Buffalo Bills perform after knowing the truth about Von Miller.
