Many former NFL stars have emphasized on how off-the-court connection is important for a duo to build a solid partnership on the football field. Similar has been the case for Philadelphia Eagles’ marquee Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown, who just took center stage right from the work ‘go’ in the team’s latest encounter against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Not just on the very first play, but on three TouchDown passes, the connection between Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown was on point as the Eagles managed to stretch their winning streak in the 2022-23 season.

On the first TD play, it seemed like Jalen Hurts’ pass was about to be intercepted by standout safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, until AJ Brown rushed in out of nowhere to snatch his 3rd receiving TouchDown of the season.

This play just indicated what the Pittsburgh Steelers are entering into as Jalen Hurts and his bestfriend AJ Brown simply did not stop after securing their first breakthrough together.

After this Jalen Hurts once again spotted AJ Brown and threw a perfect pass on a third-and-8 pass, which the latter caught in stride for a 27-yar TouchDown.

Following this play, it seemed like the Steelers would be getting an idea on how to stop the magic between Hurts and Brown. But no! The Eagles’ marquee duo was in no mood to back down and give their opponent a chance to make a comeback.

The third score was similar to the second play as Jalen Hurts against struck Brown down the right side on a 29-yar play.

Interestingly, this performance from Jalen Hurts’ bestfriend was even more impressive as he had not recorded a 100-yard receiving game since the inaugural week (against the Lions). Moreover, AJ Brown is the only the fifth player for his respective franchise over the past 20 seasons with 3-plus receiving touchdowns in a game, per ESPN Stats & Information.
