What happened to Kyler Murray? Update on Cardinals quarterback

By no means Kyler Murray was having a decent season with the Arizona Cardinals this year. From the team being haunted by injury demons, their Quarterback might be one of the hardest working players on the field but his confidence and play making ability wasn’t the same at all.

As a result of which Kyler Murray led Arizona Cardinals fell to 4-8 before locking horns against the New England Patriots. With a chance of throwing the kitchen sink at their opponents, Murray was seen going all-out attack, just when he suffered from a non-contact injury and laid flat on the floor.

With him going down, the Pro Bowl Quarterback was sympathized by the set of players from both the sides. While the Arizona Cardinals listed him questionable in the hopes of setting him out for the second half. The result indicated just what was awaiting them.

Kyler Murray tears his ACL

Kyler Murray suffered a knee injury – the ligament might have had a tear, which would mean an operation to begin with followed by rest. In simpler words, the player would be out of action for a long time. Fans would be aware that a torn ACL requires nine to twelve months of rehabilitation.

Although there are MRI scans to be done tomorrow, yet the Cardinals fans are not expecting much of a positive news regarding Kyler Murray. Perhaps his pain was evident when he fell on the ground.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury added, “You see teams go through it every week, but you lose your starter on the third play of the game, non-contact, it’s just tough to watch and see. You gotta be able to rebound and play the game, though.”
