Newton’s college career started in Florida, wherein he represented two colleges – Blinn and Auburn. Interestingly, Cam was always one of those professionals who chose to stamp their own dominance and authority on the football field. As a result of which he overlooked the likes of Mississippi State and Oklahoma. Interestingly, he was the No. 26 prospect in the 2007 recruiting class, as per the 247Sports Composite rankings.
