After being ruled out since the very first game for Dallas Cowboys – Quarterback Dak Prescott will not be returning for his team’s Week 5 showdown against the reigning Super Bowl Champs – Los Angeles Rams.
The limelight of Dak Prescott has been stolen by Cooper Rush, who has not had applause-worthy performance. But has consistently helped his team secure consecutive wins to stand a firm chance in winning their division even without the marquee Quarterback.
Being ruled out due to a thumb injury, Dak Prescott will not be returning to game-action despite Jerry Jones’ speculations, for the Dallas Cowboys. This means that Cooper Rush will have another week to prove his metal and probably give another chance to the fans to discuss the No. 1 Quarterback position.
29-year-old Dak Prescott underwent surgery to repair a fracture near his thumb. The marquee Quarterback said last week that he was targeting a return in Week 5 vs Los Angeles Rams. But that won’t be possible as has had no participation in the gameday-practice sessions the entire week.
That being said, with Cooper Rush leading the Cowboys over Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants and Washington Commanders. Another victory with him leading the offensive line could make a valid discussion for the No.1 spot, quite interesting. Given that the Rams too have been dealing with their struggles on either ends of the field, Cowboys, by no means, are underdogs heading into this one.
Will the Los Angeles Rams be able to secure a win against a Dak Prescott less Dallas Cowboys? Or will Cooper Rush elaborate upon his undefeated legacy? Remains to be seen as the action pans out this weekend.
